How often do we hold the keys to our own chains without even realizing it? I believe that the keys to wellness and thriving can often be found within ourselves; sometimes it takes a guiding presence to help us realize it. Counseling can be a unique journey full of self-discovery. I eagerly invite each of my clients into this change process by encouraging authenticity in a safe and supportive environment.
The fresh air, sunshine, and outdoors does wonders for the soul. As a result, I love hiking, camping, rock climbing, and never turn down an opportunity to enjoy a good camp fire. I also like to participate in long distance races. I enjoy playing guitar and singing. Much of my energy and fun time is devoted to chasing after my twin boys, who keep the entire family on their toes.
Often times, the stresses and fast pace of life can cause us to be disconnected from ourselves. I excitedly anticipate the moments when clients can courageously meet the deepest parts of themselves through the counseling experience. These moments impact both the client and the counselor. Providing a path towards grace and change in a person’s life is both an honor and a privilege.
