How I Help Clients Thrive
My goal is always to be a safe place where I can help empower, encourage, support, and cheer you on. I believe that the relationship we build together is very important and provides the foundation of change within our counseling relationship. Counseling can be daunting, stressful, or even scary for some. That’s where I come in and make sure you feel safe, comfortable, heard, and supported. I will come alongside you where you are and help you along your journey as we take you where you want to be.
Life can be hard and filled with ups and downs. I will be working with children and adolescents as they face the challenges that life may throw at them. I will work alongside and child/teen and help them as they navigate emotions, feelings, and changes that come with these challenges.
When working with kids, I create a safe environment where they will feel comfortable to explore and understand their big emotions through play, imagination, and creativity.
As I work with children and teens, I will also work alongside their parents or guardians and help support you by providing skills, techniques, tools, and resources that can be used in the counseling room but also at home!
When we all work together, lasting change becomes achievable!
What I Do For Fun
You can usually find me spending time with my husband and our family. I love riding my bike when the weather is warm, vacationing to the beach, going on walks with my husband and husky, and rooting for the Bengals when it’s football season! At home I love to have a book in my hand or rewatch One Tree Hill for the 5th time.
“ We cannot become what we want by remaining what we are.”
