Helping Clients Thrive

I seek to help you find your own keys to mental and emotional wellness where you can discover more about yourself. I will listen without judgment and I want to know your story. I do this by asking questions, helping you make insights, and building connections with you over our sessions. I want to know your goals and help you achieve them.

We will use our time together to help draw out your strengths and gain insight on your problems and concerns. Over time, you will learn techniques and skills for managing some of the struggles you are facing. If you’d like to include spirituality or faith in a part of your journey, I am experienced in walking side by side with you through that exploration.

Why I Became a Counselor

After spending the first part of my career working with families and teens in youth ministry, I decided to take my natural skills in empathy and relationship-building back to school to help better understand how people work and thrive. As a lover of depth and empathy in conversations, counseling was a natural fit for me. I’ve learned how to support individuals and families as they work through life’s struggles and joys. With a special place in my heart for teens and young adults — I work well with teens, young adults, and adult clients. I especially appreciate a little bit of snark and creative thinking!

What I Do For Fun

You can find me close to the water (kayaking or just watching it), taking walks, and spending time with friends for self-care. When I make time to fill my own cup, it enables me to care for others in my life.
