Someone once told me, “Little hinges swing big doors.” This mindset is powerful in session. Evidence based counseling techniques with a caring therapist opens new space to comfortably explore the next step in your desired life direction. I offer space to start uncovering, recovering, and discovering the stuck space of your days. While also providing knowledge about how the body reacts to emotional, spiritual, and cognitive distress. This is where the body meets the brain. There’s more for you to know and explore to the fullest with a small first step.
I enjoy landscaping work, weeding the garden, and planting flowers and vegetables. My husband and I are avid home rehab amateurs. Occasionally our young kids are willing to learn along with us.
Creating the best outcome with grace and gratefulness propels me in my role as a counselor. Keeping goals simple and listening to your cultural background develops a therapeutic relationship which is life honoring. My base of belief in “Be who you are; do what is in front of you“ guides the direction for therapy and for my life as well. I enjoy giving you time, encouragement, and some knowledge. This is what motivates me to step into the therapy room.
