Helping Clients Thrive

Many couples and individuals are deeply hurt by the chronic pattern of emotional disengagement and unresolved conflict. I help my clients focus on core issues and take gradual steps to help reduce distress. In session, I meet you where you are and offer space to uncover where you’re stuck and develop skills to find healing and reclaim a deeper connection.  As you set goals, we’ll work towards them together using the latest evidence-based practices in therapy.

For Couples:

Creating a comfortable space for couples to discover their true core self and connect with their partner is my passion. I believe in the renewal of respect and love after stressful situations such as infidelity, opposite partner personalities, blended family, and other such interrupting influences. Using the Gottman method to strengthen solid aspects of the relationship, we will also design a template to give you space to grow your marriage into recovery from disaster and into a legacy for your children to follow.

What I Do for Fun

I love to learn! I’m often found reading research and experimenting in my spare time. My latest endeavors involve milling organic grains at home, and baking sourdough bread. I’m fascinated by organic growing, how the body works, and organic farming. My husband and I delight in growing flowers, herbs, and vegetables. With two teenagers in the home, we are attending activities, playing board games like Cashflow and Phase 10, spending time outdoors, and traveling when we can.

What I Like About Being a Therapist

The thread that winds through all of us is a need to have life lived with others we love. My desire is to support and equip people with skills to create vibrant relationships and to hold hope for those struggling and distant from the life they desire. I am passionate about this approach to address areas of peace, understanding, and joy. I provide a space for you and your loved ones to learn the Gottman skills to and design a new level of closeness, respect, and confidence in connection. Ultimately, my desire is to create the best life-honoring connection for clients in their relationships.
