Helping Clients Thrive
Children and adolescents are in the process of navigating emotions, developing self-awareness and advocating for their thoughts, desires and needs. It is a journey of moving forward and then possibly facing setbacks.
I will meet each client with acceptance, holding space for where they are and where they want to be. I utilize a multi-sensory approach which recognizes that change comes from not only verbal, but also visual and kinesthetic exchanges. It may look like creating art, playing a game or doing movement to increase emotion regulation and problem-solving skills. I create an empowering approach to therapy which shows great respect to the client and caregivers, while supporting growth and finding solutions.
What I Do For Self-Care
Being out in nature, thrift shopping for amazing finds, cooking, yoga and creating/viewing art.
