Helping Clients Thrive

My primary goal in therapy is to make a space where you do not have to be “on.” Instead, you can feel at ease to share your pain, stress, and struggles with authenticity. I’m intentional about providing an experience that starts with a trusting, hopeful relationship and is tailored to your unique relationships and experiences. Having this type of safe and secure relationship is a launching pad to healing and flourishing in therapy and beyond. From there, we work together to create a plan to move toward the envisioned change that led you to take the vulnerable jump Into therapy. I know that therapy takes an investment of time, vulnerability, and money, and I work in a focused manner to honor that investment and help you achieve your personal and relational goals.

I am a second-career counselor, formerly working In engineering and operations management, while also coaching high school tennis. My experiences help me connect to my clients with genuine empathy, while also supporting the focus it takes to create and complete plans for change.

What I Do For Fun

I am an avid professional basketball fan. While I probably listen to more podcasts than watch games, I love watching the Pacers almost as much as I love the trade deadline, free-agency, and the draft.

What I do for Self-Care

My favorite way to take care of myself is by getting creative In the kitchen. While my son still has a hard time eating anything that is not beige-colored, I love making new recipes from various movies, TV shows, or YouTube channels.

Words I Live By

When I find myself wrestling with big decisions, I oftentimes come back to a phrase my wife and I stick to, “If I am going to miss, I am going to miss going towards love.”
