How do I find the right therapist?

The simplest way to find the right therapist is to call us. You can tell us what you need counseling and we can let you know which ThrivePointe professional has expertise in that area. You can also check out profiles of our team members on our website. Once you schedule your first visit, your therapist will call you to answer any questions you have about getting started.

Before you arrive

We know feeling connected to your therapist is important. Prior to your first session, your therapist will contact you to introduce him or herself and see if you have any questions.

After you book your appointment, we will send you a link to complete your initial paperwork through our online client portal, TheraNest. Because our therapists save an appointment time just for you, we will ask for your credit card information pursuant with our policies about missed appointments.

How do I complete my online forms?

Once you log in to our client portal by state (TheraBook Ohio or TheraBook Indiana) you can complete intake forms, update your profile, and billing information.

  • Review intake forms by following the link in the top left hand corner. You can review our privacy practices and informed consent documents, and complete forms that help us gather important information about you and our work together. You can expect this to take about 15-20 minutes to complete.
  • Next update the insurance and billing information. Make sure to provide us with your address, contact information, and the credit or debit card you would like us to keep on file.
  • Finally, complete your profile and demographic information in the top right hand corner. If you would like to send secure messages to your therapist, select ‘enable secure messaging email notifications.’ This provides clients a way to send confidential messages to their therapist since standard email and texting are not a secure means of communication.
